To support the creation of a ballet suite, Luyala, based on the dance opera of the same name. Dr. Chuck Davis and Dr. William Banfield, the original choreographer and composer for the dance opera, will produce the ballet suite.

To support the commissioning of Star Gate 2003, a kinetic sculpture by internationally known artist Tom Grubb. The creation of the sculpture will be the focal point of the arts component of the Festival of Flight celebration commemorating the Wright Brothers' first flight in 1903.
